Project QT beginner's guide
Project QT gives you a lot to do from day one. This guide walks through the first hours, the systems worth learning early, and the habits that keep your progress steady without spending a cent.
Your first hours
The story campaign is your tutorial, and it is a good one: stages are short, the board teaches you the match rules naturally, and the early rewards fund your first summons. Do not hoard your first summoning keys — early girls speed up everything, and the game hands out plenty more. Follow the story until it asks for a stronger team, then spend a little time in Explore to gather upgrade materials before pushing on.
Build a balanced starting team
A good early team has a damage dealer, a tough front-line girl, and a support. Watch what each new recruit does before you slot her in; a girl who heals is worth more than a girl who hits slightly harder when your team keeps dropping. Affinities matter too — if a stage keeps shredding you, check the enemy lineup and bring girls who resist it.
Resources: what to spend and what to save
Gold pays for levels and upgrades — spend it freely, it keeps coming. Evolution materials are the real bottleneck, so run the daily dungeons that drop them. Premium gems are the currency to be careful with: saving them for summon events with boosted rates gives you far more value than impulse pulls. Keys, meanwhile, are meant to be used; they pile up faster than you think.
| Resource | Use it on | Advice |
|---|---|---|
| Gold | Leveling girls, upgrades | Spend freely |
| Evolution materials | Evolving your roster | Farm dungeons daily |
| Gems | Premium summons, refreshes | Save for boosted banners |
| Summoning keys | Recruiting new girls | Use them, they replenish |
Evolution priorities
When you have a team you like, evolve your main damage dealer first — higher stats on your strongest hitter speed up every mode. Then evolve your support, then the tank. Do not spread evolution materials across ten girls at once; a single evolved girl outperforms a dozen half-raised ones. As duplicates arrive, feed them into your core team to raise rarity before you worry about the rest of the roster.
The daily loop
Most days follow a simple rhythm: clear the story or event stage you are working on, run Explore for materials, hit the daily dungeons, take your free shots at the Tower, and spend whatever arena tickets you have. That loop takes under an hour and funds everything else. Events add their own missions on top, and finishing even half of an event's reward track pays for the whole season.
Free-to-play tips that actually work
Project QT is generous, but patience is the real currency. Save gems for rate-up events. Do every daily mission, even the boring ones — they are the most reliable source of keys and materials. Join a Faction early for the shared rewards. And when a limited event girl appears, focus your pulls there instead of the standard pool. None of this requires tricks; it just requires showing up.
The game does not punish slow progress. There is no content that disappears forever except event exclusives, and even those cycle back. Play at your own pace, keep the daily loop going, and the roster — and the galaxy — will come together.
